Honeymoon downpayments?

Does anyone know how much is required down when you book a honeymoon? or does it just depend on what travel agent you go through?

    I think it just depends on who you go through, but I would say at least 10%.  I know the hotel we're going to required a 10% deposit.  We, however, didn't go through a travel agent so I'm not sure how different it will be.

    we only needed $300 with VIP Vacations.  I know when we are ready to do our airfare though we need to pay for that in full!

    It depends.. We did not go through a TA.  Our lodge in SA required 30% upfront, then the balance due 1 month before our arrival.   We bought airfare seperate and that of course we 100% at the time we booked.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
