Disney Honeymoon

I'm sure there's a whole bunch of similar posts on here, but this is my first time on the Honeymoon board and I didn't go back too far.

We're going to Disney World on our honeymoon, where we've been before once together, and I used to go every year with my family when I was younger.

Is there anything fun or different to do that would be special for our honeymoon?  I saw some restaurant suggestions, which are great, so special dining opportunities would be awesome, or any other fun things you can think of.

Thanks! :-)

Re: Disney Honeymoon

  • I've never been there myself, but I've heard wonderful things about Victoria & Alberts's in the Grand Floridian.
  • I strongly recommend going to Victoria and Alberts for dinner.  It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.  They don't allow children and you have several personal waiters that night who are very very good.  The dinner is a prix fixed meal for 125 a person not including alcohol.  The meal is superb and they always have different offereings based on what is fresh in the season.  You get your own personalized menu and there are just so many nice little surprises.  It makes dinner an event and you feel like royalty.  I would also suggest getting the wine pairings because when you're already spending that much money on dinner, you should do it right and have some nice wine with it too.

If you call the Disney guest services line, you can pay for them to put rose petals on your bed in a nice arrangement and leave a bottle of champagne.  They can also give flower arrangements or a special cake.  There's lots of little special things you can order as a surprise for your fiance.

I also agree with the just married button. everybody congratulates you and it's fun.  You can also get the bride and groom mickey and minnie hats to wear which are fun.
