I was early in June and that now places me at rehearsal dinner day to start my period. 2 days before the wedding. My BM said to start taking my birthcontrol pack without taking the sugar pills go straight into the new pack and it will skip my period for July. Has anyone heard of this or done this?

I don't take the sugar pills and I only get a period if I stop taking them. Or, if I miss a pill it might trigger some spotting but I've been without a regular period for years now. It's great for vacations and what not.

I am supposed to get mine on the 13th-16th. I have gone a day early for the past couple months though.

I'm due to get mine the night of my bachelorette party (This Friday) but I'm going to just keep taking active pills instead of switching to the sugar pills.  I've done it before, but before doing it please consult with a doctor.

Thanks guys. I've been feeling awful lately. Just big and bloated and yuck. Our weather isn't helping either - in the high 90's with 70% humidity. Ugh.

And no, I was in public both times. Which is why I felt like I was in jr high.
