Fly Free America?

Has anyone ever heard of this promotion? We won two free round-trip tickets to anywhere (through The Knot, actually, in a contest along with President Tuxedos), as long as we book a 7 night stay with one of their resorts (that run ~$200 per night in the US or more outside the US). I am just so skeptical...anyone have any experience with this?

It is legit. I also got 2 free round trip tickets from fly free America. As long as you purchase the minimum number of nights with one of their resorts you're all set! Enjoy!

The tickets are free. If people actually read the website it's pretty self explantory. You are given the 2 tickets and the $99.00 goes towards your package. Once you pay the $99 you are able to book your flight and hotel. You only pay the hotel costs. Many of the hotels are very nice. You can view them on their website and choose one that is cost effective for you. The minimum stay is 7 nights. You only pay for the hotel. IMO its not a scam they tell you everything upfront it's the people who are getting the tickets thinking oh I get a free vacation.

That is what it sounded like from the negative reviews. I looked up some of the resorts on their own websites and the prices seem reasonable from what I have experienced in my travels. If they are following the rules, I would imagine it would work smoothly? Thank you!

So this was posted awhile ago. Did you end up using the voucher and stayed in one of their resorts on he webstie? Do you recommend flyfreeamerica.com or I shouldn't waste my time? Thanks!

AHHH! BUYER BEWARE. No, no, no! Please do NOT use the voucher! They aren't following the rules but are lying to you about where your money is going. I want everyone to read this because I haven't seen anyone who actually understands that this IS a fake prize! Of course it's a legit travel company, but NOTHING is a prize. You are paying for everything, and more money, might I add. YES, it IS a scam! Why? Because the prices include airfare! You aren't getting anything for free- you didn't win anything! It's not just that you have to book 7 nights and have expensive hotels- that's not the point. They're NOT up front about the price tag. Your price INCLUDES AIRFARE. You didn't get the tickets for free or for $99. You're paying for them secretly. If you're going to do that, you might as well book somewhere less expensive because airfare is not paid for. You can find a cheaper travel agency to go through with ALL INCLUSIVE HOTELS, which is what I am NOW doing and finding that it is much cheaper. Don't waste your time! Read the email below where they actually explain that it's not a prize. This is MY story.. Several months ago I went to a bridal show and won the "grand prize" that they give out at EVERY show- two free Fly Free America round trip plane tickets. Of course you find out there are restrictions and you have to book everything through them, but THAT is not even the worst part of all of this. Every website that complains has failed to mention that Fly Free America actually is not giving you anything at all. They are hiding it in your big price that you end up spending on their dumb company. I kept trying to email Fly Free America (which Robert, my wonderful responder, was not so nice in his emails, telling me to try to find a better offer if I didn't like theirs). FINALLY, I was told I didn't actually win anything. All of their prices include the plane tickets so I didn't actually win anything. Brides all over have been dealing with this same fake prize, and it's disheartening. I hope the bridal shows & other companies giving out this "prize" consider changing it, as fly free America straight up said this to me... "Dear Allie, I think the confusion is that you think you have won something. This is a discount travel program. Our prices include airfare. Shop the market and see who give you the best deal. Robert Palmiter Executive Tour and Travel Services" ... So basically the certificate is really not worth anything but is a travel discount program. Brides are paying $99 activation fee (which they won't get back and HAVE to book with them or they lose it) to end up spending more money on their hotels & restrictions when they could get a better deal elsewhere. They just think they got free plane tix when they didn't. You end up paying over $2k for a hotel and included in that price are the imaginary free plane tix when you could get all inclusive for less than that on a site like vacation express or all inclusive websites. I actually thought I had won the "grand prize", but it turns out that they're just not up front about what they're doing. They include the plane tickets in that big price tag. Oh, and did I forget to mention that NONE of their hotels are all inclusive? You're paying up to $3k for the hotel alone (and like I said, your "free plane tickets"). Seriously, brides & grooms, please research better companies and throw out that stupid voucher. It's not worth your time or money, and they're going to make you pay a lot more money when you could be saving elsewhere!!

dont, dont, DONT waste your time, sheilaadkins! they're not being honest about your money. read my comment! they even told me that their prices included airfare and that i didn't win anything. i want every bride & groom to know this!

churchill01, Fly Free America straight up told me that you're paying for the tickets. they are not free. they act like they are, when they actually include them in your price tag!
