Whose been to Greece?

Can you reco who your travel agent was if you used one and what hotels you stayed at. Thinking of going to Athen,Mykonos,Santorini.

Ditto on the cruise. Going the cruise route will get you to all of those places and the shore excursions really get you to all of the "must see" places. I sailed with Holland America (left out of Venice) and it was great! Not sure if it was the time of year or just their regular crowd, but most of the people on the cruise or older or really laid back. It defnitely wasn't a "party cruise." I personally loved it, but just something to consider depending on what you want your honeymoon to be like.

Sidenote: Mykonos was phenominal...a definite must see! Not a lot to do, but it's so nice to just walk around and enjoy it! I would for sure keep that on your list of places!

I stayed at Hotel Cecil when I was in Athens, a short walk to the plaka (center of restaurants in shops) and you can see the Acropolis with the Parthenon lite up at night from your room or the beautiful roof top view. This hotel is great and the people working there have been very helpful to navigate you around.

I've never been to Mykonos or Santorini.

I have mostly traveled in the mainland and Peloponnese Island.  I love Greece!

We went to Greece!!! We stayed in the Athens Gate Hotel in Athens, which was right in the middle of all the sites. We took the bus from the airport to our hotel, and we didn't need a cab for anything while were were there for two days because we could walk everywhere. 

We stayed on Santorini for the majority of our honeymoon. I HIGHLY recommend the Vedema Resort. They have buses that will take you many places on the island, including to their private black sand beach. The buses pick you up from the airport and take you back when you leave. It was great, and a beautiful place to stay.
