That's kind of a broad question. What's your budget? What other things are you wanting to do besides swim (if anything).

The first thing that comes to mind is renting a condo or house on a place like Marco Island, FL. My H has done this before and loved it. Their condo (he went with a friend's family) had 3 bedrooms, kitchen, patio, and private pool.

I've looked into this before and in the off-season (summer) you can get a condo easily for around $500-700 a week. I bet some have private pools. Also check places like vrbo.com.

What are you looking for and what is your budget?

If you're looking for a resort, there really aren't many in the US.  You'd be better off going to the Caribbean for that.  Otherwise, like PPs mentioned, there are plenty of places to go where you could rent a house with a pool.

I stayed in the pocono mtns in PA.  I can't recall the name of the resort but they had small private indoor pools in each room.
