how many tourists are too many? (fixed the format!)

i am getting married on the beach, in july. which is prime tourist season.  i know i cant keep people off the beach just because its my wedding but how many tourists are acceptable before i should try and find a new location?

I'm not sure where or what beach, but you will need to check with the local area to see what requirements you may have.  Some cities require a special permit to get married on the beach.  You might want to ask on your local board if anyone has gotten married where you are planning to get married, to find out what they had to do or how they handled tourists.

Hmm this is a tough one, because the beach invites photo bombers and other unwanted extras. And there are lots of variables not mentioned here.
Have you been to this beach before at that time of the year? Are there other beaches nearby that get more crowded, deflecting the crowds that may show up at the beach of your choice? What is the parking situation like?

If worrying about it keeps you up at night, I would try to find out what local beach is the most popular - and then use your google skills or word of mouth to find out where locals go for a calmer atmosphere. Then go with that beach if it can acommodate your party size.
