Location: In-laws backyard, it's huge and covered with tress and great patio. We are an outdoorsy couple, plus didn't want ot pay $900 for empty space at a location, instead we are having margarita machines and daquaris!!

I really prefer to be inside because mosquitoes LOVE me and I avoid direct sunlight. The venue's garden is beautiful, though, so I don't mind too much of this compromise!

Reception - open field in parents yard that overlooks a little valley and creek behind their house. Why you chose an Outdoor Wedding: FI & I chose this place b/c we have spent a lot of time picking pears and apples in my parents orchard and playing fetch with our dogs and just love the location. The reception site that sits atop a little hill has an unobstructed view of the sunset and it is just beautiful. On a cloudless night you can look up and it's just a blanket of stars and it is just beautiful. I'm going to try to get pictures of the view next time I'm there.
