Outdoor Venue

Re: Outdoor Venue

  • Whats your date?  It's a gorgeous venue, but what immediately caught my eye was the temp at the bottom.  101 degrees?  I would decline that outdoor wedding.  =)  Anything above 85 not involving being in water, no way.  I wouldn't make it through it and I wouldn't ask my family to either.

  • June June 19 2010 .......... Texas is hot ! LOL Sandy Oaks has a indoor lodge for our olde older guest so I am ok with the heat. I hate indoors :-)
  • I think it is really pretty, wish we had soemthing like that close to us. I hate indoors to! Just give guest drinks and fans, and they will get through the ceremony at least.
  • Reminds me a lot of my venue, I live in California and it's promising to be in the 100's for my wedding day too. I'm definitely supplying my guests with fans and stocking the bathrooms with insect repellent wipes. Otherwise your venue looks like it will make for GREAT pictures!
  • You should post on your local board and ask if anyone else has used the venue and what they can tell you about it.

  • I second asking on your local.  I'd also suggest that if your username is your real name, that you ditch it and get another username.  There are crazies on the internet.

  • Something else you might want to consider would be renting outdoor a/c units...your guests may appreciate it in June! :)
