"Friend" on Honeymoon

Hello ladies!  My wedding is in exactly 3 months.  i just projected when the next time my "friend" would arrive and it's the day after my wedding day!  This CANNOT happen.  I am on the pill and think there are ways of shifting it up.  i need advice and suggestions... PLEASE!

There is a similar post to this below. It is highly recommended that you consult with your doctor. Please do not take medical advice from strangers on the internet.

  • There are ways to address this with the pill (PLEASE talk to a doctor, not an internet forum).

But I'd also like to add that it's not the absolute end of the world to be on your period for your wedding or honeymoon.  Yes, it sucks, more of hassle, may interfere with romantic times, but seriously.... it's not a life ruiner.  Many women have dealt with it without altering their cycles using the pill.

It took me entirely too long to realize when you said "friend" you meant period.

PERIOD!  It's not a bad word.
  • I have been in the same situation with vacations before and just skipped the placebo pills (or whatever they're called) in order to move my period up one week.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: "Friend" on Honeymoon : When I first saw the title, I really thought this was going to be about someone joining OP and her FI on their honeymoon.

LOL I thought the same thing and the quotation marks made me think OP was referring to a frenemy joining them on the HM.

Yes, definitely talk to your doctor but also realize if it comes anyway, it's not the end of the world. This coming from the girl who got her period on the first day of her HM to Hawaii. Still had an absolutey fabulous time.

  • I thought "friend" meant like 3rd person joining the honeymoon because they are swingers!  Seriously, it's called your period, menstruation, it's not a "bad" word and we don't need to talk about it in code words.
  • isnt there  bc where you skip your period?  i have never taken it so i can't say anything but maybe talk to your doctor.

  • I, too, thought a friend was joining you on your honeymoon.

You can easily remedy this by skipping your placebo week but please talk to your doctor first.  It's not the end of the world.

    ^THIS^

It isn't the end of the world. And saying 'friend' just sounds silly.
