May wedding Colors?

We are having an outdoor May wedding next year and I am trying to decided on colors.  The wedding will probably be in a grass pasture for a farm wedding. My fiance`  wants red as a color and I agreed as long as I get to pick the shade.  I would pick a deep red.  What other color should I put with it?  I was thinking like a canary yellow.  Are these good spring colors?  Any other ideas?

I love yellow with anything,   my cousin is doing red and i had these for her to take a look at.  Happy planning )

Deep red tulips and yellow daffodils have just started blooming side by side in my garden.  I think it is a beautiful spring combo.

I like the red and yellow! I'm also a huge fan of red and aqua and I think red and brown would be a very natural, spring vibe!

Go with spring time colors or colors that are already at the venue. I'm getting married May of this year and we're doing blues and browns. We're getting married outside. So we're using things that are already there.

I think the red and yellow as long as it isn't too bright would be really pretty. Red and aqua is pretty. There are lots of good color palette inspirations on TK. I like the dark red, ivory and silver ones too.
