I'm having an August 2012 all outdoor ceremony + tented reception outside. I would like to avoid the high temperatures as much as possible to keep my guests comfortable. Although, like I mentioned, we will have a large tent for the reception and plenty of cold beverages.
Northwest, PA Date of Wedding Sunset is approx 8:26 PM.
Our plan is to start the ceremony at 4:30,
Formal Pictures/ Cocktail Hour 5-6.
Reception 6:00 - 10:00
Is it okay to push everything an hour later so we will have cooler temps? Or is this timeline too late?
Start Ceremony 5:30
Formal Pictures/ Cocktail Hour 6-7
Reception 7:00 - 11:00
I've never been to a wedding that went on that late, so I don't know if this is typically okay, or not.
I figured I better take our guests' ages into concideration, So most guests are aged 20-50. Only 4 are elderly and under 10 will be children ages 7-13.
Thanks for all opinions/advice!!
