advice for ceremony and reception without electricity

I am planning on having both the ceremony and reception in a redwood grove picnic area at a public park sometime next summer. Problem is there is no electricity, and amplified music isn't allowed. We are having around 60 people.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

I'm thinking I can have a friend play guitar for the ceremony, but concerned on how far the sound will travel. We are having an afternoon event with badmittion, horseshoes, etc., so not super focused on dancing, but I still would like to have background music during dinner and would like to have at least "the first dance". 

Any suggestions on how to make this work?

try seating in the round so that everyone is closer and more likely to hear everything
