Western Ranch Wedding

We are having a western style outside wedding and reception. Planning to have it all in 1 location at a nearby ranch. Im having EXTREME problems trying to find a dress that is appropriate for it. I dont want too much "blings" I dont want all WHITE (My colors are Brown and Green.. our cake is Mint Chocolate). Anyone have any ideas for me?

Find the dress that you want but not heavy really light and go with the flow . my wedding is at the farm and i tried on about 50 dresses before i foound one and it is ivory we where thinking of a hayride and a pig roast but that has changed but i found a dress that is really light . keep looking your find what you really want its your day and noone else ......

That's what I was thinking, something elegent but light maybe lace-like. We are in Florida and we are expecting the renewal wedding (I dont care what others say, I call it a wedding and that is my rights) about March or April, date is not 100% confirmed yet.

Since I know this is a Vow Renewal, Im going for a bit of a different color, I dont want WHITE anyways. A friend did find a cute white with a hint of green tone in it that is just BEAUTIFUL. Thought it would be perfect and unique if only I can find a dress that would look good in that as well as maybe a Green or Chocolate sash.

The baby will be 4 to 5 months old at the time of the renewal and I will be breast feeding so the top is loose enough for me to still be able to feed him/her.

Can I caution you against that dress? (I may have said the already on the budget board, too lazy to check).  The pic is of a dress by Alvina Valenta, and dresses from that line range between 1,500-3,000, and higher. All the dresses are made in the United States, and this website says specifically it works with Chinese wholesalers.  Quite a few brides on these boards have gotten their dresses from a site like this, then been extremely dissapointed by the quality, construction, and fit.  They look NOTHING like the picture, and when they try to return them, they are just given the run around until the return period is up. 

Here are a few similar dresses from Davids Bridal.  They cost a little more than the site you're looking at, but in this case, you'll get what you see, rather than a cheap knock off.

Wow, those are way more than I expected and I really dont want to spend that much money on a dress that I plan to trash. I do want a dress like u listed but the price is way too high. We are getting our Renewals in March and I do have 4 children, 5th one going to be born in November, so we are trying to make a good size wedding under a tight budget. We cant keep postponing this, both mine and my husband's grandmothers are unknown how long they are gonna still be with us and they really want to see a WEDDING like renewal for us.

I know some brides have a lot of luck looking at bridesmaid dresses, and ordering them in a 'bridal' color, since many of them come in white of champagne, and are very inexpensive.

I totally get not wanting to spend a ton on a dress you plan to trash, but with those knockoff sites, more often than not, what comes in the mail is trash already.

hmmm the first one is cute and would probably be easy to breast feed in. Some of them didnt click on me. Im really hoping to find something in laces like the dress I showed.

I found this one and LOVE it but wonder if they will allow me to change the color of the sash in the middle (it's sew in so...) without extra cost...

Or maybe just make my own dress... Kinda mix what I have seen so far with a RANCH style Wedding dress. Give it my own mix and my own taste.
