need ideas of how to cover in-ground trampoline

I am having my wedding in my backyard, the one problem I am unable to figure out is this; I have a built in underground trampoline. It is about 15 feet in diameter. I have thought about trying to take down the trampoline and cover the hole to make a dance floor, but don't think it would hold the weight of people without some kind of support in the middle. Also, I am working on kind of a tight budget so I can not afford any type of plexiglass.  Any suggestions of what to do with it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you ALL!

  • If you don't want people to be walking on it at all maybe you could find some inexpensive fencing to put around it?

  • For safety purposes your best off just finding a nice way to fence it off. You could but sheets of wood over it but they would have to be very large sheets. If you can get the wood, it does give you an option to paint it to blend into background. But then again, peopl might think t's a dance floor and that wouldn't be good.
  • personally I like the idea of keeping it. something different during your wedding for kids adults to use.. imagine pictures of you and he husband in the air.... in your dress.... could be very memorable
  • I agree with tessalyn I love the idea of keeping it! The pictures would be priceless!!

  • Keep it, but fence it off with a gate -  you don't want gramma unexpectedly stepping on it and going up in the air!

  • Fence it off.  It's too big to try to cover, and too much of a liability not to fence off.

  • I like the idea of keeping it as well. Maybe put some lights around it so that people know it is there.
