Getting nervous!

I'm getting so nervous about the weather! My wedding is 7 weeks away and I live in Florida! I'm so worried about the weather holding up... or a hurricane coming or something! Anyone else have these worries??

Do you have a plan B in case of bad weather?  Please say yes.

We're trying to figure out if we can use my fiances church (the church where our officiant preaches at). Or if we absolutely haev to, we'll set up the ceremony in the place where were having our reception at. I just really hope it doesnt come down to it! Our invitations and decorations and everything was alll about the oak trees we want to get married under!

well, sounds like you have a plan b and plan c thats the best you can do! by having all of your bases covered, i think that always puts you at better odds for not needing to use or plan b or c

although, since plan b and c would take place at locations different from the intended ceremony space, have you thought about a plan or options should you have to use a plan b or c? such as, how will your guests be informed that the reception site has changed, especially if the weather is iffy? will aunt fern have to make a 120 phone calls the morning of or could you possibly let guests know ahead of time to check your wedding website, ect? last thing you want are your guests all calling and texting you the morning of your big day!

Well where we are planning on having our ceremony is right ouside the reception venue, so if we decided to have it there, then we don't really have to notify anyone, just have someone sending everyone inside. If we do the church, (luckily its only 5 minutes away from the ceremony/reception place) if we see that week that there is a good chance of rain, we'll start making calls that week and tell them about the church and everything, The day of, we'll probably have to make calls and texts... theres not really any other way to get ahold of everyone the day of to ensure they get the message in time.

I know exactly how you feel my Wedding is in 3 months and I live in Ohio!! Talk about crazy weather! We're having an all outdoors wedding ceremony and reception so I'm hoping for clear blue sky's with no rain in the forecast!! Good luck with your wedding and pray for amazing weather!!

I am getting married outside, and the reception is outside. I am very nervous about the weather...We do not have a plan B. My FI doesn't want to rent a tent, but I think I will look into it just in case...Good Luck!

I live in central FL and especially during the summer months it can get very unpredictable! Our venue has a plan B... Without a plan B option I would not have the wedding outside at all due to FL being so random when it comes to rain Good luck!
