Hey everyone...
I was wondering if any of you ladies plan on doing a Saturday or Sunday daytime ceremony and reception. I'm not really that concerned with getting married during the morning....I know that a 10 or 11am ceremony may be difficult to swing as far as getting ready is concerned, but not that much of an issue for me. My issue is the reception in the daytime, especially if there are windows allowing sunlight in...IDK...just seems different for a reception. I am concerned that the "feel" may be different and people won't dance...I've been looking forward to that type of celebration. I know it should bring down the costs somewhat if we do it in the daytime. If I can find a venue that I like for the outdoor/garden cermony, that also has reception space that is more like a ballroom, meaning that no sunlight is in. It may sound silly, but I have pictured it a particular way so long. My FI is fine with the daytime wedding/reception and says that he has attended a daytime wedding/reception, then recalls that the reception was during the day, but in an enclosed space without windows.
