    Your florist should be able to tell you what is in season.

    I would google and see what you like. It's hard to say. I agree with PP as well to speak with a florist, at least to get an idea of what you want not necessarily having to go with that person.

    You want flowers that aren't going to wilt in the outdoors and possibly direct sunglight, I assume. And going with in-season, local flowers are the best way - check with your farmer's markets for flower purveyors and also do a google search for flowers in season in your area of NC.. I'm using gerbera daisies and zinnias - both which bloom May - Oct in the Carolinas for my Sept 24 wedding in Charleston.
