Dreams Resorts

So FI and I wanted to go to St. Lucia, but don't want to risk it since our wedding is in Sept., which is prime hurricane season.  We are now looking at places in Mexico, on the Pacific side.  Does anyone have any experience with Dreams Resorts in Los Cabos or Peurto Vallarta?  We are looking for a wonderful beach, large selection of food and alcohol, and some nice excursions.  Or if anyone has any other ideas I’m open to hearing them.  TIA!!

Re: Dreams Resorts

  • we stayed at dreams puerto vallarta a couple of years ago with FI family and had a blast!!! The resort is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. It is all inclusive and there are I believe 7 restaurants to choose from. The ones we ate at had amazing food. There's also a lot to do. We chose some activities off the resort, like swimming with dolphins and a day trip on a boat for snorkeling/scuba. But the resort has a lot to offer as well. Our room was great, and we had a spa on our balcony with a view of the ocean. So beautiful! HTH!!

  • we went in august. it did rain 1 full day, but we still had a wonderful time.

  •  I am a very big fan of Dreams Resorts. I have actually been to both Dreams Los Cabos and Dreams Puerto Vallarta. I enjoyed them equally! However, I would recommend you try Dreams Los Cabos for your honeymoon. The beach is amazing; you will love it! The resort also features three swimming pools, two swim up bars, and four different restaurants for dining. As for excursions, the resort staff is great and will help you arrange any tours you want to take. Good luck with your decision!
