tables and chairs

Are tables really necessary if your having a small intimate backyard wedding? Were serving pastas and salads we have 3 which will seat 30 people have 60 invited. what to do ? our wedding is at home wondering if some of my guest will not  sit down "formally"?

Everyone needs to have a seat and a table to eat off of.   You will be surprised at how many people will want to sit down.  Please don't do this to your guests.

Well, I usually like to sit down when I'm eating -- even if its just salad or pasta. 

Rent tables and chairs, definitely ... OR ... as PP mentioned, spread the word that you need to borrow some.

I think Chairs yes, but if you want it less formal maybe do cocktail tables and a few small tables for those who need to sit. I know that some of the older attendants will want to sit.  But the younger ones may want  to mingle and cocktail tables are perfect for that.

I'd say you need more chairs. I think that tables might not be necessary...but definitely appreciated.
