Hi!

My fiance and I got engaged 2 months ago, and we decided, after a month of indecisiveness, we are going to have our wedding in NC in Oct of 2012. My question for everyone is, does anyone know of any reasonable venues in NC, perferably around the Outer Banks? My fiance and I want to have a simple, reasonable wedding, with our budget being around 10-15 grand. We want to have our ceremony on the beach, and have our rent out a beach home and deck it out for our reception. Thank!

As far as budget goes, there are so many ways you can bring costs down. I got my dress online as a sample, my brother is doing our printing for us, a friend is our officiant, we're using someone's yard for free, making a lot of things ourselves...etc. Don't get too caught up in all of the wedding porn you'll be immersed in - you don't really need to have all the stuff they tell you that you do!
