HELP: Cost of tent liner and lanterns!?

Hi there,

I'm am desperately trying to figure out if I'm being ripped off by a vendor - your help is much appreciated!

For the reception, we are hoping to have a tent liner with Japanese lanters scattered throughout. We got an estimate from one of the vendors for ~$3500 to have this all installed (and the lanterns wont even be lit). Is this service actually this expensive or am I getting totally ripped off?

My 40x60 tent itself is $1920, the liner is $1560, lighting package for corner lights that are between the tent and liner is $500, and one chandelier is $200

Tents and liners are definitely expensive!

Hi Kristen,

Thanks for your input! Tent liners and lanterns are crazy expensive! I have now contacted two additional vendors; one more expensive than the first and the other hasn't responded with the quote yet... While I love the extravagance of the liner and lantern look, it might be hard to swallow that $3200 bill... Siggh..
