Silk/Satin Bridesmaid gowns Mexico in July??

What do you think about silk/satin BM gowns (long) for Mexico in July?  This is an outside, in the mountains wedding.  It will be hot, but hopefully some breeze will be blowing through.  The sales lady at this boutique said to think chiffon instead.  This is much more expensive though and the gown I found was amazing in the other material.  Do you really think it would show sweat that much?  What if they wore some sort of cotton something underneath? (given the folds of the gown the under garment would not show but may catch sweat before showing through gown)

My gown is satin and I'm wearing it in June. I would suggest only going with chiffon if you want a lighter fabric, but I consider satin to be relatively light. I think satin would be fine.

I was just a bridesmaid in a wedding in Mexico a couple weeks ago.  I wore a short satin dress and I found it warm.  I would suggest going with a short dress for the girls because July is going to be unbarely hot.  We also had nice umbrellas that we got from ebay and they helped a lot with the heat from the sun.  Plus they looked nice in pictures.

My dress is in June, and it's satin.  The bridesmaid dresses are satin and long as well.  I don't think you have to worry about sweat.
