Okay - so we're strongly considering having our wedding at a National Park with a natural spring as a backdrop. I wanted to rent a nearby pavilion for people to wait in beforehand if it's too sunny, or to possibly use as a location for a casual reception. I scoped out the area on-line and the "prime" picnic shelters for 2 out of 3 of the springs we were going to look at are already reserved for our date (next June). Should we go ahead and reserve the one that's open? It's only $33, so if we don't end up using it we're not going to be out a lot. I'm not sure when we're going to have the chance to visit to scope out the area more thoroughly but I'd hate to wait, decide it's perfect, and have it reserved by another group between now and then.
