an aisle?

So our wedding is going to be in my FIL's backyard, on their stone porch.  I absolutly LOVE it. The porch is 32 feet my 24 feet; with the sitting wall all the way around it (so plently of space for the small wedding of 55 guests)  My only concern is how to "walk down the aisle" for say.  as you can tell there isn't really an aisle.  I plan on coming down from the door on the left in the 1st picture, and walk on the outside of the porch to the steps that you can see in the 2nd picture.  the ceremony will take place with us standing in front of the water feature (in the 3rd picture)

I am wanted to have some decorations to designate an 'aisle' but not sure how, since its not straight...  any ideas or suggestions?

it doesnt need to be straight will you still be walking between rows of chairs? that defines the aisle, and you could lay out rows of luminarias, if it is evening, or small potted plants, or even flower arraingements in vases, I love the stone, what about finding lots of rocks to lay out in rows for you to walk between, then you can use them in a garden or something later? flower petals are always nice too.

will you be setting up chairs or having everyone sitting on that sitting wall?  you can still set up an aisle with chairs easy...you don't have to enter from right behind them, you can move wherever you need to get to the aisle.  Also, even if you are having your guests sit on the wall, put out an aisle runner of some kind, be it an aisle lined with rocks as suggested above, or an actual paper or frabric runner taped to the ground...having something like that to define your aisle is quick and easy, and even if they are sitting on the wall, you still get the effect of an aisle.  good luck!

It doesn't need to be a straight path!  Also set out aisle runners and it'll be pretty clear where the aisle is!

Or just put chairs to where there is a clear aisle. Runners are funky.
