Hi everyone, this is Di from Dreamlife Wedding Photos & Video here in New York. I have been a photographer for many years now and with time comes great experience. Through the Knot community site, I would like to provide some photography tips for all soon-to-be newly weds and just- engaged fiances. I am hoping that these tips can make all of your wedding planning days just a little easier.
Now to the main topic!
Sakura, the word in Japanese means Cherry. That's right people! I am talking about Cherry Blossom. The period between mid April and early May is the best time to get your wedding or engagement photos taken in front of these beautiful cherry trees. Central Park and Brooklyn Botanical Garden are some of the best places to enjoy the beautiful Sakura Scenery. You may also check out the Botanical Garden in the Bronx. If you are still in your wedding planning phase, you might want to consider getting married next year (2011) during the blossom. I am telling you, it will be an extraordinary experience. Please keep in mind that cherry only blossoms for a very short amount of time so you better plan the shoot quickly!
