Hello everyone, I am planning a outdoor, causal reception in my mother's backyard. It really would flow in and out of the house. I was planning on renting a pole tent, (which doesn't have side walls) for the day. My wedding is on Oct. 1, 2011. Usually, in the DC area, that time of the year is very pretty and dry. However, I am concerned about the weather and possible rain. We are really on a budget and I would like to keep it at my mother's house. Any suggestions on contingency plans, in case of rain? I would think, regardless if in Summer or Fall, anyone would need a back-up plan.
