Silly question about P*nta Cana

I was just wondering why The Knot won't allow us to write P*nta Cana with the U.

This is one of those little thing that really irks me.  I speak fluent Spanish - the word puunta means point, tip.  The word puuta means b!tch, hooker.  THAT'S the word they need to be blocking.  You can type it normally on the nest but not on the knot for some reason.

girlinchicago - I feel you. I was hoping that wasn't the answer to the question I had. It super annoys me as well, being hispanic and speaking the language fluently. If someone called me a puunta, I'd be super confused. If they called me a p*ta, then I might be pissed. haha
