iPod/Speakers

I was coming on this board to ask about ceremony music, when I see the post a few below that already asked the exact same question. Yay. So after reading that I have a new question. For those that said they are using/did use an iPod with speakers, what kind of speakers did you use? I am asking my sis if BIL has some that run on batteries, otherwise I'll end up needing to buy some. What's a good brand? There's only 12 people that will be there so it doesn't have to be loud, I just don't want it to sound cheesy and muffled like some speakers do. TIA!

I have an iHome speaker system that I bought from Amazon.  It plugs in, or runs on battery power.  The batteries are internal, so as long as you have it plugged in they will charge.  I've run it outside on battery power for several hours and had plenty of power left.   It's not super-loud, but i think it would be fine for a small ceremony. 

I want to say it was like $70?  Plus, you can use it in your house after the wedding:-)  Great for parties, or just hanging out outside when you want some music.
