Fairy Berries

Hey! Has anyone used these or been to a wedding that has?

http://www.save-on-crafts.com/fairyberries.html

I am very interested in purchasing them for my upcoming outdoor wedding. But they are expensive and small. So I would need a large amount. Any ideas or pointers to buy in bulk or used? (They take batteries, so I could potentially buy used)

Thanks!!

Re: Fairy Berries

  • I would just string clear lights on anything that stood still---a lot more cost effective but still gives off the ambiance you are looking for.  You can also reuse the lights or sell to someone else....not likely to do that with the Fairy Berries :)

<div>This.  Plus, the clear lights would make great future Christmas or holiday decorations.  That's a perfect way to reuse them.  </div>

    I agree with PP.

If  you have a special place in mind for the Fairy Berries you could always buy a smaller amount and use them in those specific places then use the twinkle lights everywhere else.  i.e. in trees and bushes where no one will notice a difference use the twinkle lights and in centerpieces use the fairy berries.  I had never seen the fairy berries before your post, they look cute but you gotta use things that will be budget friendly too :)

    Hope this helps!
  • Wow...those are expensive, but really, really neat. Is there not anything comparable? Another company with the same concept? They really are cool, but I have to jump on the Christmas light bandwagon...plus if you're wedding is after Christmas you can get them for cheap.
