Bad weather backup for pictures

The ceremony is being held outdoors in a state park and I was really looking forward to having pictures outside there. 

Our backup location is where the reception is being held and I would prefer not to have the couple pictures and what not there.

Any suggestions on a backup photography location?

Ask on your local board and talk to your photographer.  Maybe you can take photos in a restaurant, museum, green house, etc.

If it does rain, generally it will not rain for the entire day.  Be flexible and open to taking pictures before the ceremony if it looks like it might rain later in the day.  If you have an afternoon reception, maybe you can do photos after the reception if you need to.

I agree that your local board would be best for this question. Have you considered the idea of taking pictures before the ceremony in case of rain? My DH and I took pictures before and it was the best moment of the day, to be honest. We were able to take three hours before the ceremony and get all of our pictures done.

The state capitol building is very popular here.  Maybe an art museum?
