Breakfast Wedding

Anyone had any experience with "breakfast" weddings. Our wedding will be June 2012 and we are having an intimate backyard garden ceremony. We thought it would be nice to have our wedding on Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m., then have a champagne brunch following.

I was watching one of the wedding shows on TV(I can't remember which because I watch them all, haha). Her breakfast wedding was simple and SO elegant. It was just absolutely wonderful!

Make sure to limit your attendants and keep your hair style relatively simple.  Who wants to go to the hairdresser at 5 am?

What a great idea!  Now that I have a honeymoon to look forward to I totally wish I had done an earlier ceremony and reception so we could fly out that night..oh well.

I think this sounds fine as long as you aren't expecting a "party" atmosphere.  I doubt many people will be dancing and drinking that much.  I just don't want you to be disappointed!

Thanks everyone for the comments!! We are planning a small civil ceremony for our close friends and family before going to Cancun for a symbolic ceremony on the beach. We thought a Breakfast wedding with champagne brunch would be a fun and relaxing touch to our special day.

We are planning the BIG evening reception after we return from Cancun.  :0)
