Ideas requested for an outdoor winter wedding in Puerto Rico

I'm getting married in January (yes wintertime) in Puerto Rico (yes, it will feel like summer).  I'm considering the "Pabellon de la Paz" (if you google it make sure you use the quotes) as the location but I don't know how to decorate it.  My colors are red and gold, and it will probably still have holidays decoration from the city since it our holidays last up until the end of Jan.  Anyway, I would appreciate any ideas.  I had to change from a catholic church to outside and now I'm completely lost. Thanks!

  • I would start by googling red and gold wedding inspiration photos and then get a feel for what you can do with the space.  Look at outdoor beach weddings and contact the venue and have then send you pictures of what has been done in the past.  That's a good place to start.

  • Hi!!! I'm getting married too at Puerto Rico and your venues seems beautiful!

I would put white garden chairs to both sides of the aisle. Then, a nice design in RED rose petals to set the aisle. I personally love the idea of having the two curly willow tress in white vases to make the altar. I would request the designer to hang red roses from the curly wilow to make it extremely romantic. Finally a small round table with a red tablecloth to have a place for the oficial signatures.

    See the picture below!!

I really hope I was able to help! Good luck!! ;)
