Outdoor Weddings

Scheduling by climate

I've looked up climate information for the city we're considering utilizing for our wedding.  Logistically there's some other issues with some of these dates, but I wanted more opinions :)  For May/Sept we'd likely be using late May or early Sept.

The venue has weddings beginning at 5 p.m. (reception is indoors) so I'm guessing it'll be slightly lower than the ave. high, but not much.

If I were Goldilocks, my deductive reasoning would say May is the coolest, June is the wettest, July is the hottest, September is driest, August is juuuusttt right.

But humor aside, I don't want my guests being too uncomfortable (hot or cold), even if it is only for a half an hour - and I'd love to minimize the chances of being rained on.

Opinions?

Also, does anyone know where you can get a list of average sunset times?  I'm debating if we should do a first look and have the wedding party take photos *before* the wedding - instead of risking running out of light.
