My fiance and I are getting married in May 2012 in Mexico and have heard that some people get their marriage license prior to going away to avoid having to do blood tests and wait 4 business days which are standard practice for getting married in Mexico. This would mean you would be married already but would do your vows and wear your dress and everything as planned and avoid some of the hassle. Any thoughts? Anyone done a destination wedding or doing one? What are you doing?
