Where to start????

My wedding is in May of 2011 - and I'm a little lost on the planning. The wedding is going to be in Texas, near my fiance's parent's house, and we'll be planning everything from out of state. I've gotten our save the dates, and I've bought my dress. I still have to send out the save the dates... I'm just so scatterbrained with all of this planning, as I'm basically doing it alone. Any suggestions on how to make this go a little better, or at least so that I feel like I'm getting things done?

I started by researching the area i wanted to get married in. I;m also planning a wedding out of state. My dad lives there so he began asking friends about good outdoor wedding locations. After he gave me a few, i started researching them online and getting information from them. Took me a little while but we settled on a beautiful winery around Lake of the Ozarks, MO. It was difficult finding a place that had a day we wanted though. Most places book so far in advance. We are fortunate that the winery had a cancellation on the saturday we were hoping for.
