Cocoa Beach October Fall Florida Bride

I'm at a lost with my centerpieces. I don't know if using season specific flowers will be cheaper than using roses like I want BUT I do know that live floral centerpieces are pricey. Especially with a 20-30 table set up. I need help for alternatives:)  Any advise will be appreciated. I've seen some ideas but I'll be on the waterfront witha breeze that may blow out real candles and blow flower petals away.

I look forward to your help:)

  • Seasnoal flowers are almost always your least-expensive option (and they are bound to be beautiful).

Any reputable florist with experience doing weddings should be able to work within a budget.  So start by figuring out what you can afford to spend on centerpieces, then work with your florist to come up with something beautiful in your budget.    Unless you are an expert in floral design, it's usually easier to give them a lot of control over the flower choices by specifying colors that you want, and any type of flower you want to stay away from (like, for example, if you don't like gerbera daisies).   Then let them present their ideas to you.

  • I had thought about having Floral CP's, however I decided against it. But while I was deciding I went to  a local florist and had her do a mockup with what the idea that was in my head. She quoted me and that's how I decided, but I was saying that so you could get an idea of what you want and the cost. Then if you're up for it, you could DIY them with fake flowers or with real ordering from, Sams or Costco.

Here are some non-floral CP's. I didn't know what your "theme" or colors were so I just googled!

  • I just got married on the beach and this is what we had:  The flowers were the bouquets. I didn't notice if the candles were lit all night or not.
  • Thank you ladies sooo much. I have been pondering over this for at least two months strong. You never know how much planning is involved in a wedding until you're attempting to do it yourself:)  I love the ideas. One of my patient's wife is a florist. I'm hoping she will be able to enlighten me on some ideas I have.

    Thanks:)
