Where are you buying your candles?

I have looked at Quick Candles, Save-on-Crafts, Candles4Less, etc. and the shipping costs are killing me.

I'm looking for votive candle holders (clear or mini-hurrican) and white unscented cvotive candles.  I'm hoping not to have to pay an arm and a leg for shipping.

I've also looked through what Amazon offers -- no dice so far.  Ugh.

Re: Where are you buying your candles?

  • I think you might be right.  No matter how I work it, the amount of shipping is not going to be worth the "bargain" I'm getting for the candles.
  • I got mine at Hobby Lobby when they were on sale. They were cheaper than what I found online, too but I didn't check out the dollar store.
  • If you have an Ikea near you, they would be a good place to check.

The dollar store was a good suggestion.  Thye also have a website where you can  order items in bulk.

Also check craigslist in your area.  Lots o bride's resell their reception items.  I got my flower bowls for the shepard's hooks from there.

Michales has that in their store and you can use a coupon on them.
  • These are all good suggestions.  I will be at Michael's this weekend for sure!
  • i got mine from Michaels last week and those ones that are regularly $7.99 were on sale for $4.99!
