Hey ladies! Just got married on Saturday, we're now enjoying a nice little mini-moon. The day was truly the best day of my life, the love of our family and friends was overwhelming at times. Here is a my advice regarding outdoor weddings specifically: 1.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS have a rain plan.
2. Roll with the punches.
3. Keep calm and carry on.
It poured rain on our wedding day, like poured...I'm talking inches, on the bright side, it turned our tent into a "lake" front venue
We had all the chairs set near the ceremony site in case the rain stopped in time. When we made the decision to move the ceremony to under the tent, it was our guests (who were all in the tent) who insisted we keep it outside. So they trekked over to the ceremony site, their umbrellas and raincoats in hand, they helped stack up the chairs and luckily the rain stopped for a little bit and was really just sort of misting during the ceremony. I love them all
Remember that what will be, will be, and at the end of the day you'll be married to your best friend.
