Help with color scheme

I'm having an October wedding, but it's going to be a beach wedding (St. George Island, Florida Panhandle) because it's still very warm weather that time of year. I'm having trouble meshing the beach theme with the fall season. I like the idea of Chocolate brown and Robins Egg blue together, but is that combination okay for Fall?

I love that combo! It's fall and it's beachy, reminds me of driftwood and the ocean.

Since you're having a beach location I wouldn't worry so much about it being a "fall" theme. I think it's going to look great!

you can always fall back on the beach theme for favors and such.. and i loove the idea of chocolate and robins egg blue.. sounds wonderful for both an autumn wedding and a beach wedding

I really like the brown and blue. I say do whatever makes you happy, no matter what season you're getting married in. You're only getting married once!

i'm getting married in October as well, and our reception is outdoors next to the ocean. Our colors are going to be teal, chocolate brown, and champagne! I wouldn't have it any other way - i feel like Fall colors are too depressing for where I am!

I think that if thats the colors you want then your should go with it! Its your wedding and you should do what makes you happy!

I think that's a great color scheme! That'll look really nice with a beachy theme. Just like pp's mentioned, it's your wedding so do what you want!

I'm also getting married on a beach in early autumn. I'm going for indigo purple/cornflower blues in bridesmaids dresses and bouquets (with either lime green or lemon yellow as an accent colour in the flowers). I don't think you should feel tied into an autumn theme, go for the colours you love!
