My FI and I are getting married 10.20.12...and I was wondering if we should start planning our HM.  We want to go to Greece, and possibly use Hellenic Holidays or one of the other Greek agencies that are highly recommended on TK. 

How far in advance did you book your HM?

Also a friend gave us enough frequent flyer miles for both of us round trip to Greece...do most travel agencies accept FFMs with their packages?

We are using Hellenic Holidays for our trip to Greece. Our wedding is 9.22.2012 and we have already booked part of the trip (the accomodations). We plan to book the airfare within the next few weeks.

Oh & Petros at Hellenic Holidays will work with you on the frequent flier miles. In fact, you don't even need to book the flights through him, so you could do that on your own using your miles.

thats only 9 months away. what would it hurt to book now especially if you have to worry about the ability to use the miles for the dates/flights you want? if the tour/TA can't take them book it directly with the airline.

Ditto ali.  We booked our hm around 9 months ahead of time - if you know where you want to go, I like booking early.  Gives you that much longer to be excited about it!
