Escort Cards...Ideas?

So, I am going to start working on my escort card envelopes.  I plan to do envelopes now with the guest's name outside and the table numbers inside (which I will do once RSVP is confirmed) so I can get a head start on this project.

But, I am not sure about how I want to display them.  I cannot have tents or anything that may blow away due to possible wind tunnel issues in the pavillion we will be in...and Kev does not like my pinning it to a peach idea I have in my bio.

So, I need some ideas...What are your ideas for an escort card display?  What do you guys plan to do regarding table assignment/escort card table decor?

Re: Escort Cards...Ideas?

  • I have seen a lot of pictures of a bulletin board covered in pretty fabric with the cards pinned on it. If I find a picture I will send it your way!
  • Someone on my local board sent me a link to this blog, which covers a lot of vintage weddings. There current entry has all the escort cards held up by clothespins.

  • Oooo...that is REALLY nice!  That is definitely a contender as long as I can find a giant picture frame.  I might have to go by like a Salvation Army or thrift store and see what I can find.  Thanks for that link

What about pinning them to weathered would. Any old empty building or barns nearby?

btw you could easily make that large frame. At home depot they have those super tiny boards like 1"x2" for only $0.75 stample nail glue four together sand paint stain you got the big frame for less than $5

that is if you cant find one reasonable :)
