Sorry I've been MIA for a little while. Work and wedding details have been keeping me busy! But I wanted to share pictures of my homemade garter. I made this using lace from my mom's wedding gown, purple silk leftover from a dress I made, store-bought rose ornaments, and a pewter robot charm. I messed up on the first try -- I sewed the fabric to the elastic and it scrunched up all funny. But the second try turned out ok!
