Flower girl basket alternative

Does anyone have a vintage style flower girl idea?? We can't have petals thrown and don't want to do the pomander. Any fun and vintage ideas??

I'm having my two flower girls each carry a fabric flower broach in a tea cup down the aisle, one to my mother, and one to fi's mother.

A crown of flowers is vintage and very, very charming.

Our flower girls are going to carry small bouquets.  No throwing petals.  I also don't care for pomanders.

I love the flower crowns and I've considered it.

The other thing I considered (and have seen done) is that the flower girls have loose flowers in their basket, and as they walk up the aisle, they pass out individual stems to people at the ends of the pews.  Its adorable.
