Vintage/romantic wedding favors?

Hi there! I'm new to this post thing and kinda just feeling my way around. I am getting married in September and am having a vintage/romantic themed wedding in blush pink and cream. I am struggling with favor ideas, i would like them to be edible but im not a huge fan of candy..any ideas would be welcome! Thanks :)

Re: Vintage/romantic wedding favors?

  •  We havent decided yet but are leaning toawrds honey in mini mason jars
** I don't believe that old cliche that good things come to those who wait. I think good things come to those who want something so bad they can't sit still **
  • I've read of people doing mini jam jars, either bought and labeled or home made.

How about macarons?  (Not macaroons, hehe!)

    This idea is cute:

Or perhaps vintage looking teacups and wrap them up with a special wedding blend of tea inside.

Coffee bean pouches and candy apples?  Yes, please!

The wine and sunflower seeds idea is cute here!

  • What about an afternoon tea/coffee packet? You could get little tins or bags and include tea or coffee packets with shortbread cookies.

I love all of these ideas. My mom & MOH wrapped tea cups with a bag of tea as favors for my shower. It was so cute!

Petit fours!  They are so cute and would fit nicely with your theme/color scheme, I think.
  • We're doing a vintage feel as well and are planning on either bottling little jams or making peanut brittle (no allergies within our guests). Neither was chosen because it's particularly vintage I guess, but my criteria were: i wanted it to be edible, i wanted it to be homemade, and i wanted it to be able to at least be packaged with a bit of a vintage feel.

  • You can bake cupcakes in baby food jars. (Just make sure you sterilize any jars you use!)
Bake, Frost, and put the lid on.
  • i was thinking about this for my vintage wedding, but went for salt-water taffy instead. but i still love this idea: potpourri satchels - they can be used to keep in drawers

I'm doing a milk and cookies bar as the guests are leaving, milk in mason jars and cookies pre bagged! A snack on the way back!
