i need inspiration

I have no clue how to decorate the place where we stand as taking vows? (ummm.. cant remember if there is a name for that spot LOL) SO what are you doing any pics? I would to see any and all inspiration. vintage or not. TIA

    The place is called the altar :D 

    We're really crossing our fingers that we'll have an outdoor wedding, and in that case we'll decorate like this!





    But otherwise--in a church--probably no decorations except maybe a couple altar bouquets.

    duh Embarassed 12:00 is much too late for me anymore. I will try to post it up more in the morning. I need to show you all my DIY project s I finished on my week from hell LOL

    We are getting married in the same room as the reception, with no room change, and there isn't really an altar space. Our solution is to arrange the tables in two lines so that it creates an aisle. We are going to scatter white rose petals down the aisle and have them circle around us while we recite our vows. Very simple, yet beautiful... just the way we like it!
