Help me pick the ring bearer's eton suit color (PIP)

My wedding theme is vintage French.  And I'm struggling with a relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things.  But I want to actually put some thought into this.

 What do you ladies think should be the color of the ring bearer's eton suit? Ivory or black?  And with ivory or black socks/shoes?

IVORY ETON SUIT! If you are a traditional bride who wants to fit proper standards the boy should absolutely wear an ivory eton suit with ivory knee socks and shoes. By your picture that would also have him matching your flower girls as well.
