hey Mary, can you tell me again where you got your button bouquet? Was it etsy? If so which seller? I see your posts around randomly and I'm loving your buttons!

  • Hi Annie--

Sure, I love mine, I'll share. I couldn't believe that one day I was looking and there was a dead-on match for my colors that match my shoes. This is essentially the one I got:

http://www.etsy.com/listing/72794364/pink-orange-and-blue-button-wedding It's very securely made, cute as heck, buttons are good quality.

I think it's slighty more saturated colors in real life--slightly darker pink/blue/orange. I'm going to make a satin wrap for the base with what they cut from the hem of my dress.

Another shop that does great stuff is Really Bad Kitty (awesome name!).  KK just happened to have my exact colors so I got it there.

The only thing I'd warn is that mine was a bit smaller than some people would like. It's right for me, but some people would want larger. I had known that from one of the reviews I read and was prepared for that.  I'd check the size with the vendor if that's a concern, and ask them for a few more stems if you want larger. I think the scale is hard to convey in the images.

I love the brooch bouquets, but won't spend that kind of money on them.

  • Oh thank you thank you!!! I can't see spending as much as I've seen for some brooch bouquets either, although they are lovely I imagine th snagging my dress :(
