card box ideas

My fiance and I are doing a vintage carnival / circus theme for our wedding. The colors we're using are teal, cherry red, black and white. I'll be wearing a 50's style short dress. I have found a lot of inspiration online for our overall "theme" but need ideas for the card box.
The only idea I have come up with is using a small vintage trunk or suitcase....

These are very expensive, but you can get some inspiration from this site http://pandorashatboxes.co.uk.

Lasly, you can make one yourself really easily!  craft stores like michaels and save on crafts have plain boxes  you can decorate using wallpaper or fabric as you like.  Thse are from www.save-on-crafts.com

What about flipping over a top hat to collect the cards inside?

My only other thought is to use something like a popcorn container...

If you are really crafty it could also be cute to make a much larger "animal crackers" box to use as a card box. Sorry, I should complete my thoughts before I post
