Show me your...

Anyone have any ring bearer outfit inspirations?

I'd like mine to wear little grey knickers or pants, a white shirt and suspenders with purple bowtie.

Here's a picture of a little guy in black knickers. I don't care whether or not he has a hat, and my guess is that it might be hard to keep a hat on a 2 year old anyway!

or my second idea is for him to wear little grey knickers or pants, a white shirt, sweater vest (solid or patterned)  with purple bowtie.

He he he he!  I figured the knicker pants sets and eton suits would be popular on this board!  But so far I'm not seeing any eton suits.  Maybe that's a bit too old timey or British for people :P

Either way, knickers are NOT easy to find!!!!!!!!!!!  Man!  Oh well.  :D  Suspenders + bow tie is what I'm really after :P

  • Our ring bearers are our dogs :) A cream long hair dacshund and a blond pomeranian/ eskimo mix

They're just going to get bows and/ or flowers on their collars- they're both pretty fluffy (even though I did just give them their summer haircuts yesterday- LOL they're naked!) so even though I love love love the idea of the little bow ties on dogs, but you just wouldn't be able to see them on my fluffbutts!

[QUOTE]yay twins rule!  :D eeva-  i was thinking that it would probably be quite easy for you to get regular dress pants for your ring bearer and have them shortened and made into knickers.  it would be an easy alteration!  a seamstress could add elastic at the bottom, or a button.  worth looking into- and probably cheaper to get basic pants altered than to shop for "specialty" pants.  ;)

I was thinking the very same thing, and if it was my kid I'd do it myself.  I kind of doubt that the mum knows how to sew, though, and I don't want to trouble her by asking her to go to a seamstress.  Though I guess I could "suggest" it if "she" was in love with the knickers idea. :D
